The beautiful turquoise waters of the South West of Western Australia.
'Follow Your Bliss' is a visual depiction of the words by Joseph Campbell who was an adherent of Carl Jung. It follows the idea of “doing your own thing” or “pursuing your dreams” to be yourself. The swimmer moves between the shoals on the diagonal showing her to be upwardly mobile. The upwardly moving diagonal means happiness and joy. It is essentially about freedom, and swimming can and does give that wonderful sensation of freedom. The media is mixed which, consciously or not, also reflects the search for one’s goals as life is full of other influences like mixed emotions. ~ Carl Altmann
